Well... We had our first two attempts (if you can call them that!) at The Poem... Good effort, Émilie and Brooke! You also wrote this week's dictation; click HERE for today's words. Then, together, we read to the end of p. 151 and had a rather sad discussion about marriage. What a depressing way to finish the class!

After a lovely Fall Fair weekend, we were back to work. You completed the two quizzes we had scheduled: the grammar quiz and the second novel quiz for Tuesdays with Morrie.
Then, I handed out the next set of grammar notes relating to wordiness; click HERE to view this document. Please complete the exercise for Thursday in preparation for the grammar challenge. Your next grammar quiz will be on Friday.
Finally, we read up to p. 128 (Tuesdays with Morrie) together.
Homework: For tomorrow, please read to the end of p. 141. Also, think about what you would want engraved on your tombstone!

After that, Alyah presented her Mental Illness Assignment; well done, Alyah! Finally, we read a few pages (Tuesdays with Morrie) together.
